So finally got my stage 2 icon suspension with CDCV. Installed it still have to do some adjustments to the front and reconnect the sway bar linkage on the driver side.

An issue i ran into is that i have a par of budbuild side steps and where ICON has you install the remote reservoir the sliders dont allow for placement there.

I think i came up with a good solution that accounts for any potential issue with binding or pinching by the bump stops.

I know at the moment they are exposed to debrie from the tires but think a set of mud flaps should do the trick.

I wanted to know your thoughts on where i placed the remote reservoirs and any considerations i may have missed that could be an issue.

I ran into this issue and my mechanic placed them in similar spot. Since I drive unloaded all the time I leave them at 0. I was tempted to send them back to icon to revalve for a slightly softer ride.

As long as you can see the adjuster wheel and access it without scratching up your arms I'd say you're in good shape. I got in the habit of adjusting my Icons (Tacoma not LC) for the trail at the same time I was airing down, so good access was key. It's also helpful if you don't have to brush your arm against a dirty tire to adjust.

Interesting. I've been looking into some BudBuilt side steps and I have an Icon stage 5 system. So you put the reservoir behind the wheels? What was it with the BB steps that prevented the reservoir from being placed in front of the wheel well? Lack of space? No mounting points?

The fitment issue was due to space. With the side steps being attached to the frame and supporting bars, there wasn't enough space to attach the reservoirs.
