Do these Land Cruisers run forever like the 100’s before them? I have a 05 Tundra w a 4.7 and that motor at 165K runs like a sewing machine as they say. What’s the word on the 5.7?

I have done a few things to mine,

    Radiator
    Cam tower reseal
    Steering rack
All before 100k, but WOW what a machine!

Did you do this work yourself or outsource? Was it costly?

My truck is a CPO truck, just ran out of warranty, Tom Craig took care of all my warranty work. He nitpicked my truck for every little thing for me. Worked out great, going in for an oil change Wednesday. Love the truck and would not change a thing.

    My 100 series needed at 95k a:
    Timing belt
    Water pump
    Cv axles
    Steering rack
    Valve cover gaskets
    O2 sensors

    Ate a starter at 60k!

Radiator was really discolored and needed to be changed when I sold it at 125k. A coil pack would fall about every other month...

The 100 was a great machine also!

    So, quite comparable actually...
