Norcal, not on fire but it was darn close.
I have been looking and there some nice ones in Texas and perhaps Sac or bay area as im in norcal.
$32000 for 145K is that sane? My Fj80 was $15K and had 65K miles. Just now starting to show its age at 130K miles burning up parts and motor oil leaks nothing deal breaker..

I guess this thread could go on for ever. I just want something nice with a big gushy leather seat and amazing air conditioning my 80 is certainty awesome but getting old. Wont ever sell it.

My English mastiff nearly stroked out last drive at 100F

What year is it? I sold my 08' with around 110,000mi on it for close to $35k last year. I also had many offers on it but didn't jack up the price as I took the first full price offer even though others were willing to pay a little more. So it simply depends on how well the vehicle has been taken care and ext/isn't. color plays a big factor as well.

I would maybe ask closer to 29k unless it just had the 150k mile full maintence workup and the tires are newer. Lots of speculation on my part without knowing the details of the 08

Drive a bit...or fly and drive it back...

Here's one in Seattle with 35,000 fewer miles at a Lexus dealership $31,999...
Probably negotiable. +Buying from a Lexus dealer means it will almost certainly be up to snuff service wise.

Quick flight to Seattle...drive home in style. ;)

Looks like a good deal

I've had both 100 series and 200 series. For middle $20k you can get a Texas/Calif. rust free 100 series with under 80k miles. I personally like the 100 better then the 200. JMO.

I liked the 100 better too...until I drove the 200.
Drove my fully modded 100 for 13 years.

The only thing I miss on my 100 are the mods I'd added and the factory rear locker on my '99 (all of which I can add to the 200).

200=WAY more power, better front suspension (no more torsion bars), better MPG, better CV angles, higher towing capacity, Interior miles ahead and absolutely rattle-free even as an 8 year old truck.

Couldn't agree more.

and wondering if the new ARB rear torsion bar might not reduce the increased body roll on the LX. ;)

That listing above sure looks like 'get it while you can' or figure out why it hasn't sold yet.

I just bought my 200 and I do like it better than my 100 personally. The 100 does feel a bit more utilitarian and the 200 feels more refined and way more power.

I was in the same predicament as you Jay. I was waiting for the prices to come down to $25k before pulling the trigger. I spent $5k more than what I had intended. Hard to find low mileage examples. There are one or two in the country that you may save a few thousand dollars but have to travel extensively. I personally pulled the trigger on one I saw in front of me rather than hoping a lower mileage one was in good shape. I never thought I would spend $30k+ on a vehicle with 125k miles on it. I saw a few LC that were low mileage and prices were double for them. All I can say is now that I own one I love it! To me it doesn't feel like it has 125k miles on it, I have asked passengers with me and they have all thought under 60k miles. Someone wrote on here that a LC is considered new and not even broken in until 70k. That helped me overcome a few reservations of buying such a high mileage vehicle. The dealer I bought it from claims that in order to get such high mileage on a car it has to be driven on a highway which they felt was better for a vehicle than letting it sit or being driven stop and go through town.
