INTERCO TRXXUS!!!!!!!

Amazing in mud/rock/wet/snow...all around amazing tire.

Check the Interco website for size.

I've run both the BFG mud and all terrain tire. The TruXxus is NO JOKE the best of both worlds. Quite on the road, and very, very solid through the mud and snow!

silly question, but what is the widest/biggest tire safe to run on stock rims?

I really like my BFG 33 x10 AT/KO...they are great on the HWY, and did very well at the LSLC round up off roading. I got them at Discount tire.

THe one thing that sold me is how avaliable the 33x10 is, Every place I check the 9.5 was a special order. So If iam traveling, Iam sure I can always find a replacement tire in the 33 x 10 size.

what he said, will drive circles around any BFG... Krawlers not included...
the downside is they come in 33x12.5 requiring aftermarket rims

...exactly!

I love the stock chromies, they're bad ass, I still want to find a cheap way to widen them!

Run the 12.5's on the stock rims I know plenty of people who have and never had a problem. only drawback is its probably not a good idea to air down offroad. I even know someone who runs a 12.5 on 15x5.5 rim and he doesn't have any trouble. He never goes ofrroading though. I'm waiting for my 31's to wear and then I'll be putting on 35x12.5x15 on stock rims. tire bulges alittle but it still looks good

well it looks like i can buy MT 33x12.5x15 on 8" rims for around $240. tires have 50% tread left. I actually like the look of a 12.5 on stock rims, but are they dangerous???

Nope I heard one instance where the tire separted from the rim while he was offroading cause he aired down but I've heard of 12.5's separating from an 8 inch rim while aired down also So if you just mostly drive on the road and hit the trails and your not a hardcore wheeler you should be fine. i also like the look of 12.5's on stock rims.

Just out of curiosity Bostonfj60 what kind of tread life do you get out of those?

Sorry not trying to hijack.

not dangerous but they will bulge and wear down the center extremely fast.

I went with Michelin LTX A/T's in 31/10.5 and love them. Comparable to the BFG AT's for offroad and price but had a little better on road ride and slightly quieter. They absolutly rock in the snow as well. Almost to good because I could not get them to break loose and do four wheel drifts last winter. I prolly do 90% on road driving and 10% off.
