Hey man, I got a small one. You remember Rattlesnake Canyon? We drove through that huge open meadow after messing around in the red dirt hill? At the end of that meadow you can go left (continue on 2N02) to the Arrastre Creek crossing which might be fun right now??? If you go right (3N03) you drop down to Cactus Flats. You get to the motorcycle staging area and head 200 yards south (toward the mountain) there's a road (3N07Y) that goes up to highway 18. The coord for that turn off 3N03 is 34'18.136N 116'47.818W. Dont know why NG Topo isnt giving me the rest of the coord...

Thats kind of my couple hour loop I like to run when I visit my parents.

Also, when heading up 2N02 from Pioneertown, you can head to the Heartbreak Ridge area, supposed to be some hard stuff there. Around the area of 34'13.409N 116'40.617W

Hope that helps some!
Brad

Thanks Scott, this is better information than I've been able to find, thanks for the link.
There's a good Green Sticker map on there too, bikes are alway fun up there.

I'd like to get up there but nothing's going to happen til late Spring/summer for me, I'll keep watching here for something that fits.
Living in Torrance makes the trek a little longer but still worth it none-the-less.

Dan.

Dan-

Let me know when you're ready. A freind of mine has been voluntarily working on Holcomb Creek and they keep saying it's going to be reopened. Anyone else hear anything? I called the Forest Service today and got the same old answer. It'll be open when it's open. I understand the danger of falling trees in the burn areas but I wonder if they are seeking any help or doing anything proactive to reopen the trails?

Scott

if you're still planning on going than i might be able to do the 28th but not the 4th. anxious to try these 5.29s and aussie locker

How about the weekend of April 18-19. Both my buddy and I are free that weekend ?

Do you have any particular trails in mind ?

We have never been up there to wheel, so well be following.
