Anyone have any older shocks in decent shape they want to get rid of cheap?

I put brand new 2" OME springs all around and the original shocks are shot. :bang:

I'm going to die if I don't get something on there quick.

The original shocks may be shot but the OME springs are also about twice the rate of the stock ones. A stock shock in good condition is still mismatched to the spring. One with more rebound would be better if you can swing it

Well then it's about time you guys release your 80 series shocks. I had your front coilovers on my Tundra and they were amazing.

I actually just ordered the stock replacement Bilsteins a few minutes ago. I know they will limit my droop travel somewhat but I got a pretty good deal on them through Autozone of all places.

$350 shipped to my door with a $75 autozone gift card.

Matt...you should have called me :-( I could have saved you a fortune. Call next time you need on the shelf product.

Way to tease me now. I will call you for sure next time.

Wish I would have seen this sooner, I have a pair of 12" travel emulsion KING shocks that I could have sold to you for $350.

Be careful with shocks that limit too much droop, i went down to Baja a couple months ago hit a bump at speed and pulled the shocks right through the upper mounts. Stripped the nuts off the top of the shock shaft. Tried to have the shocks spot welded to the mounts to make it back north. That only last about 20 miles. I still had 600 miles to go to get home. Ended up taking 2 ratchet straps and strapped the axle to the frame to keep it from riding like a pogo stick. Lowered the air pressure in the tires by half also to help the ride a little. What a pain in the a$$ that trip home was at 50 mph all the way, Did get great gas mileage though.....

I might hit you up on those for the front of my 85 pickup that I'm making into a rock crawler.

That would suck. Maybe it's time for me invest in limit straps at some point.

As an aside, the bilsteins ride incredibly well.
