I have a 1965 fj 45 long bed pickup to reassemble

I took it down to the frame 2 years ago and am now going to try to get back together by my daughter 16th birthday. I have 4 years. I know thats way out there but I am really slow.

I am wanting to but a factory pto winch (1960 - 70 era)back on it and am looking for specs on Dia., braide type and length of cable?

Welcome bro!

If you are scheduling 4 years to put it back together.....that's quite a while to start the hunt for a pto setup. Keep a look-out in the classifieds, keep an active "want ad" and collect the parts and pieces as you find them.

thanks, I do have the whole pto from the winch to gear box. I am looking at cable size because i am planning a zip line for a halloween party and I wanted to do dual duty on the cable. so my hope is .25 t0 .312 cable and how long will fit on the drum.

When "she" was small, we used to sit in the back and fish in the drive way with a stick and a string. The problem is I now have three girls so it can not designated it as hers.
