IH8tuesday's. Slid in some black ice right into a sidewalk and bent an A arm on my 'lil echo.

Oh well, least I didn't hit anyone else like I usually do

Ya mean that Kim wasn't ahead of you in his nicely repaired 60?:D

Time to get some winter tread. As of the beginning of the week there was lots of 13" wheels with good winter tread on Craigslist. Probably a bit less available tonight.

Canadian tire, and I only went there 'cuz its in spitting distance from my office and where I smoked the sidewalk.
I think they kinda screwed up tho, cuz I only asked for 1 new rim (on the tire that hit), and I have 4 shiny new black rims, but was only charged for one.
Those prices are for probably the worlds smallest automotive tire, 155 80r13.

I just wish I had been driving some a tad more stout, like say a 'cruiser, when I hit that curb. This bent A arm is looking to be pricey. But then again, the last time I slid into a sidewalk in a Landcruiser I sent it rolling twice :)

Bugger, I figured there was a catch somewhere. I had images of the A&W "6 for $2" commercial. I guess it won't tick you so much getting the usual Crappy Tire employee replies.

More snow on the way today. Now you got good tires, remember that probably 50% of the other don't.

Is there any need for this?

:)

Now kids...play nice :) Kim how is the truck doing? is it fixed?
So far this week has not been much better then last, I fired up the rig this morning, pissing rain in PoCo, and look, no wipers. Check the fuses, blown. Replaced and good to go, until I hit Hwy7 where it blows again and no wipers. So off to get coffee and try to troubleshoot while its raining. While driving back I went through 5 fuses in 10 minutes. Finally figured out the wiring to the back wiper motor has a short but not before a damn seagull managed to s*** on my windshield before I got the wipers working again (and was still driving). Arghhh!!!

Now that was funny. :lol::D

Had the same problem last fall but it is just the rear wipers and the electric mirrors on that circuit in my truck. I got as far as tracing it to the rear wiper. But I really don't need to see out the back window, so it is still not fixed.

My biggest problem this week is trying to decide to do synthetic or delo 400 for my oil change this weekend. I still have to do oil every 5,000, so am not sure if it is worth the extra money or should I just spend it on a sump heater for when I am in the interior this winter.
