Hey all, so I'm just test fitting the H55F gearbox to the 1HDT engine. I wanted to put the clutch fork and release bearing in for a final (on the ground) fit, but for the life of me, I cannot work out how the release bearing attaches to the clutch fork.

Anyone got a picture, or further info?

Picture below of HZJ73 fork and release bearing, but that spring clip just seems to hover over the fork... (ignore the other fork and bearing at the top of the pic)

Just seems a right old sloppy fit compared to the H55f to 3B fork and bearing. But hey, if that's it, then problem sorted

Cheers

It’s a loose fit. It’s supposed to be that way. Same one on mine.

Clean your fork up and get rid of the corrosion. You want it to be clean. Don’t do sloppy work. You’ll regret it later on.

Then put some antiseize on the interface positions.
