I’m new to the forum and also a recent owner of an HZJ75 with a 1HD-FT engine and an H151F gearbox.
My goal is a full restoration of both the body and the mechanics, and at the moment I’m buying parts so I can start the work with everything already at hand.
I’ve found that the car has a homemade gearbox support made with an iron bar, and I want to buy the original crossmember for this gearbox. Do you know if the bar from an HDJ78 or 79 will fit? I’m not sure about the chassis width compared to the 75. I also need to buy the 4 brackets to weld onto the chassis.
Has anyone done this kind of swap who could help me with the part numbers I need?
