How do you get a standard engine pipe to fit on a HZJ105R? I cut my old one out as part of my restoration and now I can’t fit the new one in. It’s a 5ft snake of a thing that just can’t be manoeuvred into place easily.
I’ve disconnected the front driveshaft shaft, jacked the body 5cm off the frame on the exhaust side of the car, removed the rest of the exhaust and a few misc parts I could - transfer case bash plate, sway bar link mount. What else can I do short of cutting the new engine pipe in half or trying to drop the chassis brace out from under the transmission (which I’d rather avoid because I’m sure I’ll break the bolts).
Any tips would be hugely appreciated.
