Hello all,
I have a ticking sound coming from the bell housing area under the truck. This ticking will occasionally go away, but more often than not is present. Sometimes disengaging the clutch stops the ticking sometimes it doesn’t not. Once in a while, if in neutral and the clutch is let out, the truck will shake in time with the engine, like the flywheel or clutch is unbalanced. Disengaging and re-engaging the clutch stops the shaking. When pulling away quickly from a stop, the truck will shudder a bit while slipping the clutch. Does anyone have any experience with any of these symptoms before I separate the trans and clutch and order parts?
