Hi everyone, I am new to the forum and really like it so far. I just bought a hydraulic winch from. Friend of a friend and I can’t even ID the mfg much less the model. Any help would be appreciated.

The double knob gearbox looks very Milemarker to me.

H9000, 9000 LB. HYDRAULIC WINCH - https://milemarker.com/product/h9000-hydraulic-winch/

FWIW, I was involved with transferring a Milemarker 9k that was originally installed on a gas 80 series to an HZJ73. Might have some handy insight. It ran off stock power steering pump in both instances. Did work, but was painfully slow even in high gear to spool cable in. In my opinion the stock P/S pump doesn't produce enough flow to work efficently with the supplied hydraulic motor.

But, a friend of mine already had the Milemarker, and wasn't in a position to lay down cash for a 24v electric winch. So on it went. Waaaaaay better than no winch now and then, but tedious to use for the average recreational wheeler.
