You can do better than a lot of things...Last time I checked, most rims out there can roll over terrain.

How's the rim checking goin? That's a lot of rims, I'll leave ya to it.

On a more helpful note for our viewers, and I hope bjowett doesn't mind I snatched these pics off tundrasolutions, I like how they look.

A full set of the wheels should arrive next week, so look for more pics and info very soon. No problem posting those pictures here, I normally mix it up a bit posting different pictures between webpages, but if others want to bring those other pictures over, it's all cool.

Those rims remind me of some old school BBS wheels you would see on VW's in the late 80's early 90's... Those were cool when I was in high school...

The classic and modern BBS wheels are usually a mesh design. These are more of an old school Ronal, OZ, or the previously pictured Alpina. The style is still used in world rally, look at the WRC and Dakar vehicles... they all use a similar design. Very strong, and if I recall correctly, they are designed to roll further after a tire is lost and the rim grinds away. Form follows function, especially at single digit tire pressures.

Yup, 44lbs.

Pictures of them mounted yet?

I want those wheels so bad now......

I think that those wheels look fantastic. Also taking into account that the choice of wheels for landcruisers is not so big.

What is the width and backspacing btw? Thx.

I just picked up this LX, and will be doing a complete build. If the truck had its original wheels staying with the originals would be the obvious choice for me. The 22 inchers on low profile tires need to go quickly. Since I will be buying rims anyway I would like to take the opportunity to upgrade. I do some snow wheeling and like the idea of being able to run very low tire pressures. I also like the idea of carrying a 2nd spare with out a rim and being able to set the bead in the field.

Is anyone running these on their 100? Experiences or recommendation? I will be going with 33" tires. Is this enough sidewall to take advantage of the low tire pressure allowed with a bead lock?

Any pictures of these wheels mounted on a 100 series would be greatly appreciated.
