Hub conversion

Hello all. I have a 92 landcruiser prado, Japanese spec. I'm swapping out my hubs for manual.

Is there anywhere I can buy the hub spacers. Or anyone have the dimensions, thickness ect? Cheers.

I found swapping the spindles and hubs off a solid axle mini truck to be the easiest and most cost effective.

As in mk3 hilux hubs? I have a set of them, winner!!!

Do brake disks remain the same mate?

Yeah I swapped over my prado discs to the hilux spindals. I would assume the Canadian 79-85 solid axle trucks would be the same. If you don’t swap the steering knuckle it’s not a big deal but you will have to add some extra silicon for where the wires went in for the electric hubs.

Mine were exactly the same, Ill have a look when I get home... I think I took pictures when I did the swap with a comparison of the 2 spindles and wheel hubs. Here is after it was all installed.

Off the 85 toyota truck axle, swapped my prado disc and calipers and bolted it all back together. Then I was able to use the factory asian hubs with no spacers.
