Hello everyone! new member here but so happy to have joined.Bought a 100 series and starting to do some work on it. I have bought some aftermarket hub caps but I can't seem to make them fit in the rims, seems that the problem is a "knob"on the rim, any ideas?

Aftermarket issues.

I’ve used rubber mallet to tap mine in before.

Just have to be very accurate on placement.

I don't think those match the wheels, or is it just me? I think those are for a different set of OEM wheels.

Yeah, those look to "flat" unless it's just the angle of the pic

I agree that those a not the correct center caps. I ordered the after market ones and had to use a dremel to make the fit. They fit tighter than the original ones after I tweaked them.

Thanks so much! So you mean that they should have more of a “nose”?
Do you have an image of the correct one by any chance?
Thanks again! Sorry guys, very new in all of this.

Those are not 100 series wheels. The 100 series caps are more bulbous as shown below. Sometimes you can fit 100 series caps on other OE wheels but it won't look 100% correct. You also might be able to drill out the center of the cap so just the "dust cap" on the hub sticks out.
