Just wanted to say hello as I am new to the site. I recently purchased a 1982 FJ60 and although I have been building and wrenching on older trucks and cars my whole life I am new to the 60 and look forward to learning.
This truck has a SBC TBI conversion mated to the Toy 4sp and an overdrive box that I am not completely familiar with yet but seems to work quite well.
It sits on 32's with an OME lift. It's getting a custom front bumper from Manefre and an 8000# milemarker this week. Next the rear will get a selectable locker maybe from Yukon.
That's about it for now and I look forward to digging in on this thing.

Thanks! Yes I have decided it's the perfect rig for my location. Minus the 2f of course which does not work at 10,000ft in the mountains. So I was looking for a truck that had the rear quarters already repaired because I hate body work and that had a V8 because I have too many vehicle projects on deck right now. Found one!
