Anyone here know how to remove the rear console cupholder drawer? (the one on the back of the center console for the 2nd row passengers) The FSM merely says just to remove it, but not how. Is there a magical lever or something I need to press, or do I have to remove something else beforehand?

there are screws, 3 i believe. I had my center console taken out once and saw three screws in there holding it on from the top.

In my LX, there are two screws inside the drawer. Open the drawer, collapse the spring-loaded cup holders so you have more room and you should be able to see the two screws inside. Take out the screws and you should be able to just pull out the drawer.

Thanks for the feedback, guys. Do the screws go straight down or do they go into the rear of the console? (was too dark in the garage last night, so if you could clue me in, that will minimize the time I have to sit in a 100F deg car). I know the FSM says (when removing the console) to first remove the front cupholder/cover assembly (6 clips), then remove the rear cupholder drawer, 2 bolts behind the drawer (disconnect rear audio control, then that rear piece of the console pulls out), then remove the 2 bolts (4 bolts if no CD in center console) in the center console storage bin plus the screws on the side. Then the whole center console should lift out.

The screws are oriented horizontally (front to back of vehicle). They are a bit hard to see, but with a flashlight and collapsing the actual cup holders, you should see the screw heads. A magnetic screw driver is a good idea since it will be difficult to reinstall without it.
