ANybody has experience when it comes to removing the front grille of the 2016 later lc’s? I removed the cowl and the 3 screws and the 3 clips at the base.. the grille seemed to loosen but the front chrome mounding that go in front of the headlight would seem to prevent removal.. I’m guessing these things need to be removed first.. are they simply removed with mounding tools? Held in place by clips? I’m tentative on just pulling hard as it might break... guidance and advice sought.

They just pull out. They’re held on by trim clips.

Thanks. Brasskey.. any warnings or tips to make it an uneventful project? It seems you’ve been through this road before... removal of the front grille is the goal

I done it couple times. From top there are 3 screws or so that is easy From below there few clips that need to be undone. The three in the middle are easy but additional one on each side are not as easy to access as there is no room from behind the grille. I have pushed on those from outside (front grille) If you want to make this easy (cannot find those two clips and unpin), loose up the front bumper (three screws from each fender and few on the bottom. Takes it no more than 10 minutes.
