How to play videos on rear screen without remote

Anyone know if this is possible? I can hear and play a movie but I can not figure out a way to change the source/input on the rear screen without the remote. Looks like I may be buying one. I find it strange that toyota didn't incorporate a way to change it form the drivers seat. Thanks!


Oh and I am working on a 2013 LC
 
eBay is your friend...

2013 series 200 rear remote...

It comes with a pair of head sets but it's $150 which is not too bad.

Did you unzip your 3rd row seat on the driver's side to see if the remote is in there??
 
If you apply your parking break, you can navigate the dvd menu via the nav screen.

Doesnt help much while you are driving.
 
I was just trying to avoid buying one if possible - coming from a sienna and that you could control the rear screens through the drivers seat, I had just assume that was normal! No luck searching the rear pocket. Looks like ebay here I come unless anyone has figured out a way to do this!

I'd see if you can find a local owner with one and buy a learning remote and copy over the functions. There are fairly cheap remotes with universal learn functions.
