how to make a fj62 go slower?

You can get 3.0 tcase gears. That's as low as I know of.

Just got off the phone with Advanced Adapters and they say that the gear cluster should work in the FJ-62.

Thay also said that their crawl box wouldn;t work with the 62.

I was told different....

Have they actually installed one in an fj62? Or do they just THINK it SHOULD work?

I wouldn't hold my breath for crawler developments for the FJ62, the market can't be that good. Ditto for the H55F, Marlin is supposedly coming out with a crawler box for it, but the project seems to be moving at the same speed as the Orion case....I'm waiting patiently, but it's been a LONG time.

If you want to step outside the box and still stay with an automatic, there are a lot of different options out there. Let's face it, the A440F is a strong transmission, but by no means bulletproof, and pushing big tires won't extend its lifecycle.

i think im going to end up with something custom. ill mate something up to my auto somehow LOL. i really want to keep the engine and transmission stock though just to keep it cruiser...ish
