Hi all,
As I continue to fall down into the Toyota truck rat hole, I purchased an HDJ101 over the summer, because you know what is better then owning two land cruisers? Owning 3!
It’s fairly clean and rust free so I am putting it away for the winter.
I have some questions on how I should hook the maintainer up. It is a 12v system, so I believe I should hook up one maintainer. Going to the internet for answer I have read that I should hook up the maintainer to the main battery and I have read that I should hook up the maintainer to the positive of one battery and the negative on the other. As usual, the internet provides.
I am coming to mud for the definitive answer.
My knowledge of parrellel battery systems tells me it shouldn’t matter, that I am sending the energy into the system and it disperse itself as needed. But I am far from an expert.
Any thoughts on how I should hook it up? Any idea which is the primary battery?
Thanks in advance for the help
