how to find what # my 40th anniv is...

since the fake wood grain (not a big fan of that stuff) has been replaced in our 80lc I don't know where to find the 40th anniv ed production number...anyone know?

Is it part of the VIN?

not sure...didn't notice anything on the carfax but it probably would have to be looked up by the dealer if it's in the vin.

I'm sure there is a database somewhere where you can cross-ref your VIN to get the 40th #. Maybe post in the main 80s tech section. I'm sure you'll have an answer in no time.
