The way i did my spring over was ,
put the car on stands undid all the brake lines , steering components , hand brake , cut the u bolts off ,
then removed the rear shackle bolt in the bushes of the leafsprings , once you removed the bolt , the back of the springs fall to the ground but still swinging from the chassis at the other end ,
so because youve undone everything on the diff and the wheels are still on the diff you just roll it out backwards , then bolt your leafsprings back up.
Do the same on the front the only differnce being that you remove your bolt from the fixed end bush , but still the same roll the front diff out , and then bolt the spring back up.
Once you diffs are out basically weld your spring perches directly above you old ones , that you may have bought or made ( @&@&@&@& easy to make! )
Once youve welded your new perches cut of the old ones and your done.
Wheel the diffs back in no under the springs and do them up with your new u-bolts , presto spring over conversion finished !!
You still have a bit to do , reweld new shocker mounts run new brake lines , bleed brakes , and im sure there are a few other things that i can't remember right now but that is basically it .
The hardest thing will be your draglink steering linkage which now has to go over your leaf pack , two ways of doing it making one out of two and getting it profesionally welded or buying one for about $300.00 bucks.
And from memory that is it !!
Oh almost forgot , Beer in fridge is a must , otherwise things go wrong if done sober !!!
