I run a 4" lift and 36's. I have to let all the air out to get in my garage. It is 84" to top of roll bar. Hard top will not fit.

I don't see to many 4" with 36's! Do you get a lot of rubbing? What lift do you have I'm thinking about getting one? Also do you know what size rims you need to fit 35's? or how that ratio works with rims and tires. My 31's are on 15x8" rims I believe.

Looks like its goin to be real close for my junk to fit. Seems like an estimate for the cruiser is some where between 82.5 and 84 inches. My garage door is 84 exactly. Hate to be a pain in someones arse but anybody with 35's and 4inch wanna measure from the ground to the top lip of the rain gutter for me?? That way I can be perfectly exact and can keep the misses from freakin out when i cut up the garage to make it all fit. :D Any help is much appreciated.

I think you guys need to add your garage door height to this information. Remember garage doors vary. 7' is standard in most areas, especially older homes. I just had a house built and had 8' doors installed as it was not standard. Type of door will be of interest too. Lift up doors lose about 6" vs. a roll up door which clears completely.

Just an observation. If your rigs fittin', what's it fittin' under?

Also approach angle matters. I can't back my 55 in cause of its long ass end and the driveway pitch. Running in head first is no problem. Here is a pick of min in the garage. Remember SOA with 35s and 1/8 in clearence.

I'm runnin a 4" Skyjacker with 35" MTRs and a soft top and I just rub the rubber seal going in. I can't remember if the soft top is taller or shorter than a hard top. I don't have a hard top to measure but I can give you a measurement to the top of door hinge or some oter static point for you to use. It'll be tonight when I get home.

I have cut the fenders and have extended the bump stops, so I have no rubbing right now. I have the BDS lift.
IIRC, I think the standard acceptable sizing is 60% of the tire width. You can run 12.5" wide tires on 8" rims.
