Another tire to consider if you're looking at BFG A/T's is the General Grabber AT2. It has a nearly identical tread pattern to the BFG and they wear excellent. I had a set in 265/70/16 on my 05 4Cyl tacoma I used to have. Keep in mind when you put taller tires on a 4 cylinder it's going to be slow, and your gas mileage is going to suffer significantly. Unless you also change the gears. I've had many 22r-22re lifted toyotas with tires in the 33-35" range and with stock gears and they never got more than about 15mpg. I had one with 33's and 4.88's that got 24. Even just the change to the more aggressive 265/70/16's from the pathetic 245/75/16 road tires Toyota puts on the 4 cylinder tacomas dropped my gas mileage down to 20-21. Which is what I get now with my 05 tacoma V6 that would absolutely suck the headlights of that 2.7 in just about any situation.
