How much do the 2nd gen. sequoia and Tundras have in common?

I want to get a 2nd generation Sequoia and modify it to my needs/taste. which means winch bumper, sliders, rear bumper with tire carrier, 33/305 M/T's , 3-4" of lift, lockers etc.. I prefer a non IFS axle but can live with the front. Is it the same front axle as the Tundra?

I believe the Tundra is a part time T-case. Does the Sequoia have the same T-case ?

Rear axle- Has anybody tried swapping in a Tundra rear axle for more articulation? I would prefer leaf spring or coil to the IFS rear...

thanks for the knowledge!

I have a non-modified 2012 Sequoia. It's transfer case is part-time. Sorry that's all I can help you with.

The Sequoia IRS is neat and quite Stout. It will support 12" of travel or more with some work.... but articulation will still be limited when compared to a solid axle. The front suspension and diff are the same as the Tundra. The frame is completely boxed. The rear diff is a unique 10" cast iron clam shell. The t-case is a multi mode unit... 2WD, AWD, and 4WD high /low.
