How hard to change LJ78 timing belt

There are a few places to get 2lte timing belts
ROCKY MOUNTAIN imports the guys name is JOHN
MUSTANG CONNECTION
4 WHEEL AUTO
all these places should have them in stock, those are the ones on the top of my head

it is not that hard make sure the marks are lined up
 
In addition to the timing belt it is a good idea to also replace the idler gears (one is toothed, other is smooth). They also have a habit of failure with the same catestrophic consequence...

i like mud it is more for the bigger lc s toyotadiesel.com has much more knowledge for the smaller motors like our 2ltes
 
"Hey come on water pump", I know these motors have a bad rep, but I love mine its never let me down, no overheating.

It runs higher boost and 33x12.50 all terrains.

Anyways thanks again and I'll check that out.
 
A good rule of thumb for a 2LT is to change the timing belt every second head.
