How does your pig feel about 6% grades?

I'm curious how other pigs climb a long 6% mountain pass? I have a 1F, and three on the tree. I had to drop it into 2nd for the majority of the pass. She'll climb that grade at 35 mph all day long. Other than that it was a successful 3,500 road trip.

Last it ran, it liked them. But that was SBC+4 spd, with the radiator cooler.

Motor must be tired. It should be able to roll up a 6% grade at 55 mph no problem.

I get great gas mileage that way

Mine pulls up hills just fine. Much better than my BJ60 and both have the same engine.

My old tired 1F was the same. The rebuilt 2F is a different animal.
