how do I know if my rims are stock?

Hello I am new to the site and a new cruiser owner. I have a 1980 fj40. I currently have gray rims. I like the look of white rims. How can I tell if they are stock? I heard there is a number stamped, but not sure where. I don'lt see any numbers at all. Thanks.

real good chance that if they are grey and have clips for hub caps......they are stock. If you want to sell them(so you can get white spokes) let me know I would like a set.,

I think they may not be stock, they have eight spokes, not solid like the ones in the pics above. I scratched the edge and noticed white paint under, not sure if it is primer or the original white.

how wide are they? stock is 5.5 or 6" so if any wider then that the are not.

do they look like this? 81+ fj40 wheels, painted gray, were white.

Pimp will prolly know for sure, but I don't think cruisers ever came with wht spokers even as an option. Could have been a dealer add on.

white spokes were stock on 81+ US spec fj40, just like a fj60 wheel(15x6) but white, fj60 chome wheels were an option. they are 6 spoke. And yeah many 40s left the dealer with aftermarket wheels.

Me I like the gray white spokes, but my favorite(looking) wheel is the 76-80 hub cap wheels, with or without caps.

I have the original white spokes, just like in the picture above, with 33" BF Goodrich AT's - I am looking to trade to the original gray with hubcaps and smaller tires, say 30"
