How do I change my O2 sensors??????

I have my check engine light on, so I took it to my local garage and he said the O2 sensor might be bad but couldnt tell which one when he hooked it up to his computer. what computer will tell me exactly witch one of the four are bad and how would I change them????????? Thanks fella's

If you can tell us what code it is throwing I can tell you which sensor to change. It takes just a few minutes to do yourself and the part is less than $100.

Easy job

Swing by the local Advance Auto, or Autozone or wherever else you may go- they identified mine as a bad upstream sensor (theres 2 upstream and 2 downstream)- I ordered from www.oxygensensors.com and got the $25 tool kit which had a wrench that was definitely needed for this amateur wrencher. Also check out www.densoproducts.com- IIRC they're a bit cheaper. Either way, you'll save at least $100 per sensor over a mechanic, and the install took me 10minutes max to put in two new sensors. And to finish the job, I briefly disconnected the battery terminal to reset the Check Engine Light.
