Ok I got a controller from Etrailers.com. It's the T-One wiring harness. So it plugs right in to factory harness. I believed I hooked it up right. But my problem is when I have my taillights on and the blinker on at the same time the blinker is barely noticable. But when I press the brake pedal it gets brighter and works fine. Flashing on and off. This seems screwy to me. Is this how it suppose to operate?
 
Sounds like you have a bad ground somewhere in the neighborhood of the lights. You might also need to connect the ground wire from the converter to the body of your truck to make it work correctly. The concept here is that the truck thinks it's working the lights on a trailer. That the lights are on the back of the truck doesn't make a difference.

Yes thanks I think that is my problem. I did not hook up the ground from the converter. Just the ground from the individual lights. Thanks for the help.
