Hi all, I need to replace the hood struts. Anybody have any aftermarket brand success / failures or know of any OEM "deals" around? My on line search sees a wide spectrum in the prices

Not an FJ but for the Lexus I ordered from advance auto and they arrived in two days.

I had a big service coming up and I didn’t want the guys to get their heads smacked.

I cheap'd out and got some amazon ones... they've worked for a few months now, being of no consequence failing it was an acceptable gamble.
