Can someone please assist with the factory part number for the hood open switch? (Pin switch)

What model, what year, what market?

There is no 'factory' hood open switch on the US 80 series. It would be an after market addition, typically for an alarm system.

It is a 80 series, 1995, Australian model

What you say make sense, looking at the current pin that eroded the paint on the hood, I doubt that this would have been approved by Toyota
