Hone Overdrive service manual, I got it!

I finaly found at somewhat of a greater expense than I wished the Hone overdrive service manual for a Cruiser

I know in the past some folks have been looking for info on these OD units and AFAIK no one has been able to find the manual.

So if there is interest I can scan and or copy it, if no interest I will just stick it on the shelf.

Let me know.

John

I am looking for a manual for the 200 series Hone-O-Drive. This is the unit that fits the 9 inch ford diff. If you could call me at 918-857-3079 or email me at bkrvette75@atlasok.com I could sure use a copy or this manual. Thank You Stan

Well Stan,

The overdrive manual that Landpimp posted up, back in March 2005, was for a Toyota Land Cruiser transfer case application, and would not have anything in it applicable to a Ford 9 inch differential.

John, if it's OK with you, I'm gonna grab these and add them to the 'MUD tech manual links...
Bringing this one back from the dead… I have a 300 series on a 72 FJ55, does anyone know where the original scans landed? The links in this thread are dead and I’d love to print off a set before we dive in.

The general Hone arrangement for FJ40/FJ55 is the 400, bolts to the back end of the Transfer Case. The 300, split the driveshaft and was bolted to the fame between the transfer case and differential. The actual guts of the 300 and 400 were the same. There are several members, including myself, that have PDFs of the 400 manual. I have posted that manual on mud, or can PM you a copy if needed.
