I think up north there is a proprietary name....Wurzbro? I may not have the spelling right. Radiant is good stuff.

It's Wirsbo. You were close. I have radiant in 2 floors of my house. Finished basement and 1st floor. Second floor is regular hot water baseboards. Radiant is awesome. I'm still kicking myself for not using it in my shop. I got a Modine heater for the shop. It works good, but warm floors in the garage would be better.

Nothing like crawling under your Cruiser on a warm floor. :)

Give me a call if you want....

I'm a dealer for American Standard (Trane) air source heat pumps, WaterFurnace and Econar ground source heat pumps, I'm NATE certified, certified by the RPA (radiant panel association), etc. etc.

We've installed 400 + miles of radiant floor, more heat pumps than I can remember and we service many more than that...

If you want some real, unbiased opinions and some help with heatloss calculations, you can call me if you want.

No offense, but some of the advice given above doesn't stand up to real world scrutiny.

Oh yeah, I forgot to mention, we've done solar stuff since the late 70s. Hot water, electricity generation, pool heaters, you name it.
