Well we can only see the last person that joined mud? Is that the only option to see who recently joined?

Click on the "Community" drop-down link near the top of the page (a few to the right of UserCP) - Select "Member List". When the list loadsp, click on "Date Joined" to sort.

except that list only includes those with a post count ... no posts = not on list
