My hubby has spent the w/e working on a toyota landcruiser ute hj75 which he bought for our son he has conquered putting in new pistons finally but is very depressed as he cant find the fuse box and the electrics arent working properly ie no horn and lights
I am trying to help him by joining this forum for help he thinks the internet is a waste of time so it would be great to get help for this to show it isnt :>)
Please any ideas I think someone has already been playing with this ute before we bought it

Hi Robin. The fusebox is on the RH side behind the panel next to the drivers ankle(if its a RHD landcruiser)

Someone else chopping the wiring up on these 75 series utes is fairly common however the wiring is easy to work on and the dash comes apart fairly easily.

I had a bad experience with my 73 series nearly going up in flames from someone else's sloppy wiring.

If hubby changes his mind about the internet Im sure we can help him if he needs it.:D

Are you in oz?

:) thanks for that will show hubby when he gets home I'd love him to see the internet is useful
He was very tired after working on the ute this and last w/e to do the motor and brakes and to have the electrics be a mess was almost too much , he says the ute is fighting him every inch of the way !!
we have a 94 landcruiser which just keeps on keeping on 350000kms a friends is 550000kms so natural we would steer our son to one as he is hard on cars hes working on a property way out of town and needs transport so good old daddy is getting it roadworthy for him then he can do all the prettying up
we live in Mackay Q
thanks again
