HJ60 Front Diff fitting into HJ75 Rear Diff Housing

Hey guys,

Will a Front Diff from a HJ60 fit into a HJ75 Rear Diff housing?

It should fit if you are just going to use the housing, but the gear ratio will be different as the HJ60s came with the 3.7:1 gears IIRC and the HJ75s have 4.11:1 gears.

My HJ61 had 4.11,I think all the aussie and JDM 60 series do,or anything with a 5sp.

We only had the HJ60s as an option in NA for a few years and they mostly came with the 3.7s

Likewise , out of the 4 61's I've had. 3 had 4.1's and only 1 had 3.7s

Hmmmm that Cruiser had a 5spd , another 61 I had that had stuffed diffs I think may of had 3.7s. I can't recall , they were munched front and rear
