So I headed off for a 3 hour trip up the coast to pick up a full set of troopy rear seats belts! I could only convince my 9yo daughter to come with but we decided to make it an overnight trip so we could fit some fishing in.
What an unbelievable 40 series spotting trip! On the way up a soft top 40, 2(!) 45/47 troop carriers and an early 45 ute. On the way back a 40 LX hard top, a 45/47 ute and, wait for it, a 45V!
Of course that's not including the troopy carcass that donated the seat belts, it's neighbour a 40 hard top carcass and the BJ42 driven by old mate.
Well I picked up a few parts...
Seat belts x 8
Rear tool pocket lid
Overflow/washer tank with working pump
And a jack tool bracket
$130 all up.
The troopy ran really well, the new tunes helps
Slept in the back overnight, here's the view this morning
Got back home in time to do a bit of cleaning
Trying to decide what to do with the buckles which have a little rust. Tried some rattle can chrome on the bottom right
Oh and no fish...
