Hi all,

I need to remove the utility box that a PO hacked into the passenger side of the troopy. Does anyone have any recommendations on where to get an appropriate replacement panel? I suppose I could get some 14g flat steel and use the opposite side to make a template. I have a plasma cutter but that might warp the panel. I'm not concerned with the rolled lip of the wheel opening because I plan to run flares.

Any other good solutions you guys could recommend?

Thanks
Randy

template it and plasma it (won't warp) also 14 gauge is probaly way thicker stock. my guess is that stock was about 18 gauge

With that flat of panel it would be best just to make a template off the other side. 18 gauge will be more than enough for thickness. The only time you need to worry about warping is when you go to weld the new panel in. Just weld a couple inches at a time and move around on the panel as you weld another area.
