HJ45 Turn signals & taillights

I was wondering if FJ40 turn indicators are the same as whats on my HJ45?

After I brought home my HJ-45, I decided to replace all 4 light assemblies with Toyota OEM ($$) parts and discovered a slight difference with the front lights. On the Aussie light, the side light and front light would alternate (off-on / on-off) when the turn signal was activated, whereas on the US spec light, the side light is on steady with the parking lights, and only the front part alternates when the turn signal is activated. The difference has to be the wiring internal to the housing as the connection is a simple two wire.
