HID conversion kits for your off road lights

hey guys i know a lit of you hate the hid head lights, but if you already have off road lights, you can convert them fairly cheaply to HID, i have just one site that sells the kits but if you search it there are a lot.

i also converted my head light to bi-xenon way back when these kits first came out, paid way to much for the kit, and know the high beams will not work but if you are interested i found this site today they are out of stock but this kit look better than mine because it uses both headlight sockets instead of oneso my high beam indicator might work with this one.

i would show you pics of the hella 500's i retro ed but i fawked the first one up, drill the hole directly behind where the bulb enters the glass on those or you will end up like me and have 2 holes drilled in your housing.

There's lots of options available now for HID, besides the light I'm interested in them for the low current draw. The roommate got a pair of Checker HID's, the only problem in a year was one bulb failed. They have awesome output and are pretty robust for the treatment they got.

I'm trying a set of Phillips conversions whenever my tax return arrives, these are for a light bar (not primary headlights). I think that even with the DOT ones I'd research the cut offs installed to be on the safe side.

my head lights have been in ther for s*** probably 5 or six years, and i live in the country, and deer hits are common i love the way the light goes out to the sides so i can see the deer, i think the high beams not working is in the relay, but i like that second link they actually work of your stock relay and not one that they provide. right now my lights are all controlled buy the socket on the passenger side and they get power from my battery, the original headlight connector only powers the relay.
