. It’s a 1993 vx hdj80. The goal is to fully restore it. I have been sourcing parts with the last 2 years and right now she is just about ready for painting.
As far as how much of the work ill be doing, short answer is everything expect bodywork, as i’m a mechanic by trade.
I was hoping to separate the body and chassis to clean up the underside too

here she is, in all her glory. rough as a bears arse to say the least, but hoping to have her ready for road by the summer.
Oh my God! You're in trouble!
The steering wheel is on the wrong side, someone wrote "Turbo" on the side, it has Duct Tape stains on the front, the clear coat is peeling, and some jackass painted the wheels with a spray can! Not to mention the red valence on the bottom of the front.

Not sure of the plentiful nature of parts in Ireland. What do you know of? www.partsouq.com is a good international resource for new parts.
Looks pretty solid. You have the same rust under the rear window as me. I'm not sure why it appears there so often..
