Welcome. I lived in Cairo (Maadi) for three years, moving to Hawaii about a year ago. We really do miss our Egyptian friends (but not Cairo traffic!!)

Had a Mercedes Gwagen when I was there (only a few around), but we now have a LC, and just love it. Took some great trips out to the White Desert, and really miss Sharm el Sheik!!

I have actually been to Cairo. In 1995 I spent two months there with the military. I got to go to the Giza Plateau, the Cairo Museum and went on a Nile River Dinner cruise. It was simply amazing. I even ate at a Egyptian Pizza hut. If you ever get the chance , and are a bit of an Egyptian history buff like me, I highly recommend taking a tour of the sites. It was unforgettable.
