HI all, a newie here. I hava a '84 BJ42 spent a bit on it but it came with A/c P/st 5 speed Disc front end extra fuel tank now 160ltr cap. Since I have fitted a lock right Lokka Mags and am about to turbo it.

I do have a question for ytou all out there, has anyone had a prob with there Tacho? Mine was working fine now it occasionally works fine but most times now it goes to max deflection when the revs come up.

try greasing the cable... usually does the trick.. ( i use white lithium grease)

Verify that the sensor is secure in its mounting on the engine and that the connection from it to the harness is not loose, corroded or damaged, or that the wires leading from the sensor to the tachometer are not damaged, or that your ground lead from the tach is not loose someplace.
