In response to a recent post where I presented a cruiser for comment several mentioned I should ask you to keep your eye out for a 40. You mind posting any new rigs you come across? Better yet, sell me one of your babies and I'll fly up and drive it home

I'm in no hurry to buy (I have to keep reminding myself of that) and my initial investment will be limited (<7K). Just thought I'd ask cause you seem to come across these rigs so often.
Don't be mad at about the VOR episode, but right now I can't say much more than my truck is up on that site being offered on consignment since that is where I originally bought it from. Once your done spewing hatred toward asshat and anyone who would do business with him (yes I feel like I need to take a shower right now), consider the above request

there is a tan 78 for sale in town for $7900(she was at 10K) its not bad, but has some bondo where they took the rot out, small body lift, sag PS, 2F, 31 or 33's. hard top. Nice looking rig, but like I said I know it had some rot repairs. I got a pic someplace(actaully I think its on my bad dig cam card) or the # is in the Tacoma New Tribune.

I have to say that I'm VERY surprised your truck is for sale there and I don't understand why you made that choice. But, in the end, it was your choice, so good luck. I hope he doesn't screw you again, or your buyer...

Dont rub it in man! I looked at that truck a couple weeks back. He lives in town and is a total cruiser head, always on Pirates board. He works on base and is selling his cruisers before he goes to Iraq for a year. As soon as I got a buyer for my truck I called him back...he sold the truck the weekend before. It was indeed a perfectly set up rig. Had 78 running gear and a 72 body. Nice 2F with SOA and 35s.

Another one will come along.

I noticed in the Portland, OR Auto Trader a number of local 40’s poping up in the mid $3k mark. One of them was a 75’ FJ-40. The photo of course tells very little but it did look straight. As we all know they can take on a different form once you get with in the five foot viewing range. I can sang a phone number for you if you wanted more info on the rig.

I pulled a decent 78’ out of down town Seattle about a month ago for $2k. Not up to Land Pimps stats but still a nice truck for the chedder. Makes a nice shop truck. The deals are out there!
