Hey guys! Was planning on attending tech day but life go me! Decided not to sell my 62 and actually titled and plated it finally after 2 years. Indiana BMV back charged me to:bang:, sucks!

Offer. Anyone interested in a full belly and drink of choice to teach/help me do a knuckle job at my place in Trafalgar? She's in the shop now getting right rear seal replaced, leaked and locked the brake up on that side. $235 to fix including brakes and turn drum, is this too much?

Anyways, been lurking on mud each week and following the clan but way too busy with life to get involved. But this year is starting better and would love to do some stuff with you guys. I guess I need to do the dues too since last year has past.

LMK if someone wants to help a rookie? Hey Ron, buzz me, lost your number in my old cell. Carl, did you buy the place in Trafalgar? Don't see any cruiser stuff over there.

Cool! I have a manual and based on what I have read says it's not hard, but every thread recommends a buddy that has done it before as you do it for the first time. I will wait until march to do it so I will get in contact with you. Thanks a ton for your help!

Glad to hear you are keeping the cruiser. If you have some funds to throw at it, I would suggest an OME lift and some body armor (sliders and bumpers). A rear locker would be good too (preferrably selective). If you wanted to protect the paint while you wheel it, you could even get sheets of magnetic vinyl cut to match quarters, etc. With a setup like I describe, you could have fun with it and still keep it nice. Would also look badass too. I'd also be willing to help with the axle. My cell is 625-5095.
 
Glad your keeping the rig...way nice...I will have some lift parts for sell soon & a front axle that has just had the knuckles rebuilt. & all new TREs & steering links (555s)
Let me know it your interested in a 4" SUA lift from OME...Got everything you'll need. Bought the delux kit & its only a year old....front axle has all been done in the last coupla months.

I was hoping you would be my neighbor. It would be a chore to move your shop for sure. But, if you did, at least you would have tons of help!
