Thanks for the welcome. Looking forward to meeting some of you.

You know what's funny? The flipoff emoticon is listed in the profanity filters so it was showing up as *********** in every thread. Too funny. So much for a salute! :)

I see the flipoff emoticon. No asterisks over here.
I don't see them anymore either since I deleted it from the "Self-Censor Thread Titles and Post Content." I'm sure it's a newb thing; it was prepopulated with all kinds of curse words. Here's the rest of the list.

fxxx s*** a****** bitch {crap} {piss} {****} {cocksucker} {motherfxxxer} {tits} {damn} {hell} {cock} {bitch}

And this is how that list looks to me with the same filters still active:
**** **** ******* ***** {****} {****} {****} {**********} {mother****er} {****} {****} {****} {****} {*****}
Funny stuff.

Welcome! :flipoff2:

That looks like the list from the old George Carlin routine. At least that's what Brent tells me since I am too young to remember George Carlin. :D

Hey, I remember George Carlin and I'm nowhere near as old as Brent!:hillbilly:

Welcome VacMan :flipoff2::flipoff2:

I don't know where you're located; but for a competent shop in SoCal, two highly recommended shops are:
YotaMasters (in Corona) ask for Eric.

Further South? Try SD Trux (in San Diego)

Excellent info, thanks. I'm in Temecula and drive up and down the 15 all the time, so either way would be fine. I'll reach out to them and see if they can help.

Thanks again!

Tim

Welcome to the brotherhood Tim :flipoff2:. Check in here often for meet & greets, wheeling trips, and swap meets. There are a bunch of great peeps here, quite the community!

:flipoff2: Welcome, glad to have you. :flipoff2:

Holy Crap! Just got done reading your thread in tech. Follow Boyd's advice and see Eric at Yota Masters, they do quality work and can get that radius arm mount squared away for you.

Hell if I was still fabbing I would tell you to drive, no tow it over here tomorrow and let's get that crap work off an otherwise nice rig. :grinpimp:

If you were still doing fab work you'd be too busy building my rear bumper to do any work in his rig!! ;-)

Welcome on board, here's a link to cruiser mechanics
Never have used Mike, but have heard good things from others. He is in your neck of woods...if anything, he can point you to the right direction with this beast of a hack...

Lol! :) Thanks Boyd

Called and spoke to Mike today. Left a message at Yota and haven't heard back yet. Gonna take the cruiser to Mike tomorrow so he can see the custom work for himself.

You're in good hands at SD Trux. Mike is great. They basically built my truck. He'll get a kick out of those spacers.

If you're going to get everything lopped off... might as well 3 link it... Hahaha I kid... I kid...

No seriously...
