I have had this westy top with me for many years my design was to put it on top of my troopie(since been sold). Now I want to somehow make it work for the top of this cruiser. I already have a double bed inside the cab,but really like the idea of sleeping on top as well. I am keeping the rack on but might have to cut a square hole in it as well as the top of my cruiser, which I don't like the idea of but I also would like to be able to stand up in the cruiser when we are in the back. My other thought was to install on top of the rack?. I would like some ideas if any body has any that might help. I know that I might have to cut the length of the westy top by about 15inches. I don't want to mess this up.When I bought this top I managed to buy another big hinge as wll that I was going to install on the other side so it would pop straight up. Pros and cons of losing my rack as well.
